 Know Chess offers
both
Chess Camps and
Chess Classes during the summer.
If you would like to have a
summer camp at your child's school, please contact us at 510-551-9075.
Chess Camps run Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm,
with students meeting every day.
Each week consists of 15 hours of Chess, including seminars, regulation chess
tournaments, speed chess tournaments, a simultaneous chess exhibition, and a
Bughouse tournament. Also included are prizes, insurance, snacks each morning,
and double points!
Students will be divided into groups based on age
and ability. Each group will have a customized program and a
dedicated instructor. The program includes chess instruction for all
levels. Emphasis is placed on the importance of sportsmanship, and
the enjoyment of the game.

tournament play. Students will earn Know Chess! points and win
prizes.
