Know Chess! Home Page
Thank you to all and every Know Chess! school
and parent customer, as well as, each and every Know Chess! student
for allowing Know Chess! and working together with us to bring chess
to as many children as possible. During the 10 years that Know
Chess! was servicing our San Francisco Bay Area Communities we had
the privilege of serving over 7,940 schools, communities, and
families.
On July 13, 2007, Riley James Hughes, my
husband and co-founder and owner of Know Chess! was killed. I ran
Know Chess! for one year after his death. However, it became too
difficult for me to run the company without him and I decided to
close the company. And after about 17 years of marriage and knowing
Riley the way that I do, it was very important to me to pay any
outstanding bills, including refunds and close the company without
owing any money to anybody. I am very thankful that I was able to
accomplish this mission. And finish the end of the Know Chess! era
on a positive note and in a positive way. I'm certain that as
Riley continues to watch over me, he is very pleased.
Thanks again for allowing us to serve to your communities and
your families. And may God continue to bless you in everything that
you do.
Sincerely,
Angela Rene Hughes, MA
